SEO, otherwise known as search engine optimization is critical to the success of every single website. Whether you’re running an article site, trying to get people to use your services or selling products online, if people can’t find your website, then they’re never going to know what you can do for them.
It’s important that as soon as you decided to get yourself a website, that you start to learn the basics of seo. There are many books available on the topic, but you can also access some great information online and it’s often free. Take for example, my own website, SEOStream.co.uk. Although it’s still pretty much in the very early stages of development, all the information is written or recorded by experts in the field of seo. When I was trying to learn about seo for my other website, BreastfeedingMums.com, information like this was vital. Although I also purchased many books on the subject, online information was a great starting point for me.
